Award-Winning Journalist & Filmmaker
With roots in local television at Granada TV, I’ve built a career specialising in investigative storytelling, undercover filming, and sensitive reportage in hostile and high-risk environments. Early in my career, I produced for BBC Newsnight & BBC HARDtalk, where I helped deliver exclusive interviews with global figures including Hugo Chávez, Henry Kissinger, Christine Lagarde, and Ingrid Betancourt — the former Colombian presidential candidate who gave her first British TV interview after six years in captivity.
I’m a proficient self-shooter (Sony FX6/FX9, prime lenses) with a strong visual style and a background in observational documentary, high-stakes interviews, and current affairs. I’m skilled at securing difficult access, navigating complex legal and editorial challenges, and building trust with vulnerable contributors.
My fieldwork spans Isis-controlled territory (Iraq, Afghanistan), South Sudan, Gaza, violent unrest (Turkey, Greece, Brazil), and gang-affected areas (South Africa, Honduras, Venezuela, Colombia). HEFAT certified until June 2027.
Trusted by leading broadcasters and production companies including the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, and top-tier indies, I deliver bold, visually arresting films with editorial rigour. Mexico’s Deadly Coca-Cola Addiction has attracted over 17 million views on YouTube and continues to provoke global discussion.
